Social Media

Faculty of Social Sciences

For summer of 2021 (May-August), the faculty wanted a campaign to promote their graduate programs and newly established microprograms aimed at recent graduates and professionals looking to further develop their learnings.

My Plan: A summer-long social media marketing campaign that highlighted each graduate and microprogram available, the benefits of enrolling in them, and a call to action to learn more. Key metrics for this campaign were our reach and engagement.

The results: Steady overall increase in engagement and reach with posts regarding the programs. 10% reach increased over the summer.

Project F.L.Y

Looking to expand youth impact and outreach, Project F.L.Y wanted to increase follower and create content that provided valuable information in a quick, accessible manner on Instagram and Facebook.

My Solution: From June 2020 to November 2020, I created a social media marketing plan for F.L.Y to brand out its workshop content and bring it to the social media space. The plan covers various subjects such as Finance, Skills & Careers, Leadership, Mental Health, and more.

The result: The Marketing plan gave the organization direction in creating a clean and seamless social media appearance while providing valuable content. In this period, followers increase about 60%

Website Development

With the goal of making the website more user friendly, I re-designed the website in order for Project F.L.Y's clientele (Teachers & Community Partners) to navigate the website with ease. With the re-design, the organization's information is easily accessible and readable.

To refresh and vitalize the uOttawa brand and reputation, I re-designed the website to reflect more recent works with a simplistic modern design. The new design includes information that is easily accessible and easy to navigate, using colours consistent with uOttawa and Enactus uOttawa brands.

Event Materials

Perfect Pitch - Project F.L.Y

Perfect Pitch is a one-day bilingual business event for high school students to learn how to build a business. In the morning, students build their business through our BMC workshop and at the end of the day, students have the opportunity to pitch their business to a panel of judges in an attempt to win micro-funding.
